EDC Investment Matching Program
EDC can match investments of up to $5 million in capital. We’ll work with your venture capital or private equity investor(s) to increase the capital available to you—under their commercial terms. With expedited approval within 10 business days*, we can help you access more capital to grow your business.
EDC Export Guarantee Program
Export Development Canada (EDC) can offer your financial institution a guarantee of repayment on the money you borrow, making it easier for you to access working capital. Find out how the EDC Export Guarantee Program can help you manage cash flow, support international investments, and grow your business outside of Canada.
EDC Account Performance Security Guarantee
Get the benefit of pre-approval and a predictable rate for your guarantees, making it easier to pursue business. With Export Development Canada’s Account Performance Security Guarantee, you can issue letters of guarantee without putting up cash or credit to your financial institution as collateral. EDC will provide a 100% guarantee to your financial institution for any bonds it posts on your behalf.
EDC Inclusive Trade Investments Program (ITIP)
EDC has committed $200 million to address underfunding faced by companies owned or led by Indigenous people, women, and other diverse exporters. This program provides equity capital for Indigenous businesses with commercial revenue growth accelerating towards C$500,000 and significant export growth potential.
