The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is pleased to introduce our Aboriginal Economic Development Corporation Conference on the 26th of November in Saskatoon. Aboriginal Economic Development Corporations (AEDCs) represent the emergence of a new economic powerhouse on the Canadian business landscape and we are excited to host an event focused around this growing trend.
Like any strong business entity AEDCs continue to explore growth opportunities within their traditional lands and communities as well as Canadian business across the street, the province, the country & the world. They provide a new avenue for Aboriginal and Canadian business development in the 21st century.
We will discuss the importance of business fundamentals as well as community engagement; two necessary pillars that support economic growth and sustainability.
The conference will provide the opportunity to:
- learn from knowledgeable and experienced CEOs, Senior Executives and Aboriginal leaders who will join us on the panels;
- engage in discussions on a variety of topics relevant to AEDCs
- network with both Corporate Canada and AEDCs
