Mariana Welsh Bio

Mariana Rodriguez Welsh joined ATCO Frontec as the Head of Supply Chain in December 2022. In this role, she is responsible for supporting all Supply Chain requirements for the organization in Canada and the US. 

Before joining ATCO, Mariana accumulated over 22 years of experience in various Supply Chain Management roles across multiple industries, including Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing. She has worked with multi-billion-dollar organizations such as SLB (Schlumberger), GE, Goodyear, ExxonMobil, and BP, consistently driving change and delivering significant, sustainable results. 

Mariana specializes in the development and execution of best-in-class supply chain processes, practices, and systems. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a major in Supply Chain and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. 

Mariana has supported organizations in disruptive change management to improve lean process implementation, cost optimization, and best-in-class supplier management. Her recent roles have focused on business system enablement and data analytics to automate processes and enhance supplier management. She is also passionate about supporting and developing Indigenous suppliers and dedicating time to mentoring and helping them to improve their performance 

In her spare time, she also volunteers to mentor newcomers to Canada, assisting them in understanding the Canadian labor market and adapting to the country’s requirements.
