Woven Cedar Films is an Indigenous owned film production company founded by Nate Dickson. Nate is a member of Kwantlen First Nation in Langley, British Columbia.
Woven Cedar Films takes its name from the Coast Salish tradition of cedar weaving, a practice used for ceremonial, spiritual, and everyday purposes. Just as cedar fibers are woven together to create something strong and purposeful, Woven Cedar Films brings together visuals and storytelling to reflect history, identity, and connection.
We focus on the following offerings:
Brand storytelling – Crafting compelling narratives that connect with your audience to communicate your brand’s values, mission, and unique authenticity.
Events – Capturing the highlights and excitement of a summit, pow wow, corporate function, or any gathering.
Short narrative films – Storytelling that evokes emotion, raises awareness and inspires change.
