Formed in 1979, our entire Troy Life & Fire Safety business revolves around the sales and service of fire detection, suppression, sprinkler and other associated life safety equipment. Each of our offices across Canada is staffed with administrative and technical staff trained to support service as it relates to either the National Fire Codes, local provincial fire codes, or applicable ULC standards.
We are a 100% employee-owned, private, Canadian corporation with 28 offices across Canada. With over 1050 employees including 280 fire alarm technicians and 306 sprinkler technicians, we are a single source provider offering design, installation, and service capabilities.
Troy has a long history of being involved in codes and standards development in Canada. We have employees that participate on various ULC committees and working groups for the 500 series of standards that set the bar for fire alarm systems, and services. In addition to ULC committees, Troy has representatives that are active in the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA), at the board level as well as on committees for Education, Industry Affairs, Education and Strategic planning to name a few. Our sprinkler Division has representation on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Automatic Sprinkler Association, (CASA) as well as provincial CASA representation.
