Mighty Peace Brewing Company was created in Fort St. John, British Columbia, to offer a novel great-tasting beer. Their brand is to inspire the bold spirit of the area and expose drinkers in the North to the craft beer flavor. With their taproom, they currently offer seven beers on tap and an array of small plates and snacks for visitors to enjoy. In addition to normal day-to-day operations, the entire space can be privately rented out for events such as weddings, Christmas parties, charity events, etc.
Mighty Peace Brewing Co. Ltd, an Indigenous owned company, leads with the mission to create beer that celebrates the land and people of the North. With the goal to slow people down and reconnect them to the land, people around them, and themselves, over a true craft beer. Whereas the organization’s overall vision is to create awareness and education around the historical atrocities that resulted in substance abuse issues for First Nation, Metis, and Inuit communities. They will embody their mission through donations to community initiatives, investments in Indigenous human capital as well as long-term planning, which incorporates the Aboriginal worldview.
Inspired by their community and the unique breweries around BC, long-time friends Scott, Destiny, Dino, and Michelle started envisioning a space in 2016 for people to come together and enjoy craft beer in Fort St. John. Two years later, in 2018, they joined forces with their brewing team to craft brews in the true spirit of the North.
Mighty Peace Brewing offers a novel, great-tasting craft beer at an attractive price that can be enjoyed on its own or in their fabulous brewery. Our brand will inspire the bold spirit of the region while using business as an opportunity to showcase the social and economic challenges associated with excessive drinking. By combining a unique value proposition with an important social message, Mighty Peace Brewing can be economically viable while simultaneously giving back to the community. Mighty Peace Brewing Company brewery has a full kitchen and can comfortably seat 60-70 guests. They also wholesale craft beer across British Columbia, with their products available in more than fifty retail locations and liquor stores across the province.
