Amy Keller-Rempp is a talented Canadian artist born with a God-given talent. She believes her Mohawk heritage (of the Bay of Quinte) and her memory of her father, Dale Keller, drive her passion. Nature and animals have always made her feel free. Growing up with a disabled father, painting was very therapeutic, relieving some of the stress and pain of her father’s debilitating health. She uses acrylic on many different types of canvas, and has developed several unique styles described as Modern Impressionism, Sky Dance Series and Metal Art.
Fort McMurray resident, she received the 2021 Indigenous Art Award by Wood Buffalo Art Council, and completed several murals at the Fort McMurray Airport, Doug Barnes Cabin, Earls restaurant, two public art benches in Saprae Creek and Kiyam Park, and a 24 foot tipi.
Her art is featured on a gift line of products that includes mugs, plates, napkins, to puzzles, calendars, colouring books, tote bags, limited-edition prints… sold all over Canada and abroad.
She painted several pieces over the years for fundraisers, but “Carried With Love” and “Tears of Sorrow” are especially dear to her heart for their indigenous connection.
