BCSI is based in Yellowknife, N.W.T and serves as a bridge between businesses, Indigenous communities (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit), and government entities, offering expertise in Indigenous commercial enterprise, negotiations, and economic reconciliation. BCSI has a focus on Indigenous economic development projects and negotiations relating to infrastructure projects, business purchases and sales, green energy, construction, mining, oil and gas and mine remediation. BCSI also advises on treaty and Indigenous rights. BCSI aims to foster sustainable economic development while honouring Indigenous rights and traditions. BCSI provides extensive engagement and relationship building with Indigenous communities for businesses with a culturally-appropriate focus with a “boots on the ground” approach throughout the engagement.
