We have programs set up for the reclamation of land we use & follow a strict code of practice for reclamation which is a key priority. We keep our operations to a manageable area to avoid excessive disturbance to the environment. Our primary goals are the safety of our employees and community and the protection of the environment.
Gravel is a non-renewable natural resource and cannot be found everywhere. It must be located, developed, and reclaimed in a responsible manner. We follow a strict code of practice for pit development and reclamation including constructing fail-safe settling ponds, outflow structures and continuous turbidity, silt and sediment testing which are done regularly to preserve our precious river waterways. Additionally, we keep the operations to a small and specific area to avoid excessive disturbance to the environment.
