MELANIE MCKAY is a Métis woman from Regina Saskatchewan and the founder of MEEK MAVEN Consulting, created to strengthen and promote Indigenous-focused efforts committed to Indigenous advocacy, growth and advancement through building relationships, collaboration, information and experience sharing with and for Indigenous people and communities.
She has worked within government, non-profit and business sectors supporting First Nations and Métis education initiatives and programs related to social drivers of health, policies and partnerships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan.
She is dedicated to enhancing Indigenous equity, education, wellness, communication, policies, reciprocity, cultural awareness and inclusion of Indigenous voices and representation.
MEEK MAVEN Consulting offers PAIR facilitation, Indigenous engagement advising, program development and expansion project guidance, communications/ reporting support, corporate and board social responsibility support, cultural awareness training, policy development, Reconciliation action plans, recruitment and retention strategies and approaches for diversity, equity and inclusion practices.
