Salary Range: $42,000 to $57,200

The Opportunity
As a Research Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Research Department through project coordination, administrative expertise, stakeholder engagement, and writing contributions. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver impactful research initiatives that advance CCIB’s vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support
- Organize and coordinate the Research Department’s meetings, events, and travel logistics.
- Maintain department schedules, process receipts, and manage financial documentation.
- Compile and distribute research outreach materials and stakeholder reports.
- Support database development and maintenance for research projects.
- Assist with department work planning, budgeting, and document management.
Research Support
- Identify and engage potential research participants.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Contribute to the development of research themes and project proposals.
Business Development
- Provide administrative support to nurture strategic relationships.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and maintain strong professional relationships.
Marketing and Communications
- Collaborate on marketing and communication strategies for research projects.
- Support grant and proposal submissions.
- Coordinate research-related events and liaise with marketing vendors (e.g., graphic designers and photographers).
WHAT YOU BRING
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Certification or diploma in Project Management is an asset.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Familiarity with issues affecting First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience engaging with senior executives and government officials is an asset.
