Connects Program

Our exclusive Connects program is offered is a unique opportunity that CCIB offers to its new and existing members.
The Connects program develops the ability for industry Leaders to foster and grow relationships, providing mutual support and exchanging industry-specific insights to Learners for navigating their respective field of expertise. 

We welcome and encourage you to collaborate online or in person with fellow CCIB members as an expert Knowledge Leader or a Knowledge Learner.

Knowledge Leaders

CCIB members who are motivated and enthusiastic on offering guidance, expertise and networking in highly specialized and niche industries. Providing a foundation for members to build and excel in their ever-changing industry. 

  • Make a positive impact in local community by fostering economic growth in industry. 
  • Enhance national visibility with CCAB by participating in sponsored networking events with accomplished businesses. 
  • Hoan your advisory skills and abilities by positively affecting companies’ growth and presence in their industry. 
  • Help businesses over come obstacles with your support and guidance, over coming obstacles with greater efficiency. 
  • Available to participate in 1 to 5 connections per year.

Knowledge Learner

CCIB certified indigenous business members who are interested in gaining guidance and industry expertise in their business. Connecting with top tier Industry leaders that will accelerate growth, network and impact. 

  • Boost confidence with individualized support and guidance. 
  • Expand business and professional network within their industry. 
  • Acquire valuable and practical insights for business to succeed and grow. 
  • Gather wisdom from experienced practitioners and entrepreneurs. 
  • Available to participate in 1 connection per year.

Must be a member of the CCAB (in good standing).

Willing to Lead by sharing knowledge.

Willing to adhere to the Connects program availability commitments.

Dedicated

Each connection duration is expected to be ½ hour minimum.

Respectful

Expected to give 24 hours’ notice to change/cancel meeting.

Cooperative

Agree to provide brief feedback on program performance.

Get matched with your Connection based on industry, expertise, guidance, and support.

Provide or Gain custom expertise and tailored support to inhibit growth.

Provide or Gain a cornerstone and foundational support to Connection. 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Who schedules the meetings?

Leaders will provide 2-3 time slots that a learner can choose from that works for both individuals. Otherwise, parties will be able to communicate a time and date that works. 

Am I only able to connect through virtual meetings?

Meetings can be conducted vis telephone, virtually or in person. Which ever is most convenient and preferred by the parties involved. 

My Connection didn't show up, what happens next?

If two meetings are unattended without prior notice by either the Leader or Learner, they will have the option to change their Connection. 

How do I opt out of program if my circumstances change?

If participants would like to be removed from the program, they can send a request to the Connects email (connect@ccab.com) to be removed from the appropriate list.
