Bob Miller was previously District Manager of the Fort St. John Forest District (3 years) and Kamloops Forest District (13 years). In Kamloops Bob managed about 100 managers, supervisors and employees, and administered a multi-million-dollar budget. Following a successful BC Government career Bob established an active Indigenous Relations consulting company Bridging Innovations Inc. located in Kamloops, BC.

Bob’s company focuses on bridging the gap between Indigenous peoples, industry and business and other organizations. Having both Gitxsan First Nation (related to some of the Blackstock family) and non-First Nation heritage, he understands and relates very well to both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, cultures, and communities.

PAR Experience:

Bob Miller has the most relevant expertise regarding PAR/PAIR in Canada with the following credentials/ qualifications:

  • worked as a CCAB PAR Verifier for a six-year period, working with Luanne Whitecrow and others from CCAB until the fall of 2017. He has done Verifications with many major companies. Most often oil, gas, housing, building maintenance, forestry, legal, mining, financial, workforce accommodation, health & safety companies & organizations.
  • for many years now Bob as a highly qualified/ expert PAR/PAIR consultant working with many organizations and companies across Canada in respect to developing and maintaining highly successful Indigenous Relations programs.

PAIR Services:

Bob when approved, will work with your organization’s PAIR team with his services delivered including reviewing PAIR Committed or Certified – criteria and developing active responses for the pertinent criteria. The team will continue to identify any shortfalls that can reasonably be addressed, by whom and when.

Typically: Bob Miller assists the PAIR team starting with the company’s:

  • Development or refinement of corporate Vision, Mission, Values and about 5 key Goals,
  • PAIR training and Indigenous Cultural Awareness training (Working closely with CCIB),
  • PAIR team’s establishment and then further development of activities moving forward, within the pertinent PAIR Drivers of Leadership, Employment, Business Development and Community Relationships,
  • Review & refinement of above of products until adjudged to be top quality.
