Lindsey’s passion for serving the community has found its home in CCIB’s Supply Change™ program. She remembers the challenges of being a business owner, the enormity of taking on doing an RFP and navigating grant writing, which can feel like full-time jobs in and of themselves. She has been self-employed in the financial industry and understands all too well the feast and famine of start-ups. She holds a special place in her heart for those brave souls who follow their passions to succeed.
Lindsey is a politically engaged and outspoken Métis woman who actively advocates for social and economic justice. She is Co-chair on a charity board that subsidizes private sector mental health resources.
When she is not shuttling her two teenage kids to and from their sports activities, and her partner is not on shift with the Calgary Fire Department, Lindsey enjoys sunset sails with mountain views alongside her family on the Ghost Reservoir, just west of Calgary.
