Kristi is a member of Blueberry River First Nations in Treaty 8 Territory, northern British Columbia. She currently lives in the beautiful traditional, ancestral, and unceded land of the Sylix/Okanagan people, otherwise known as Lake Country, B.C., with her husband and two children: her daughter Charlee, who is 10, and her son Liam, who is 5.
Kristi completed her Master’s in Justice at Royal Roads University in March 2023 with a strong focus on the MMIWG2S+ genocide. She has a strong passion for Indigenous advocacy and justice and looks forward to putting her research into action to help make transformative change for all her relations.
In her spare time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family going on nature walks, camping, biking and eating good food.
