Kaira Jakobsh
Associate, Research
Kaira’s research focuses specifically on Indigenous and Northern communities. Her career began as an intern with CCIB’s Research team, where she later became a project manager. Since then, she has worked with different organizations and recently began working as a Community Animator at the Centre for Social Innovation.
Kairas’ research centers on Indigenous women’s entrepreneurship, skills development for employment, community economic development, and supporting Indigenous businesses. She loves being a researcher with the opportunity to bring people together, share experiences, and collaborate on creative solutions that uplift Indigenous businesses and communities.
