Derek Gelinas is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience at General Dynamics Land Systems Canada (GDLS-C), where he currently serves as Area Manager SCM Projects with a focus on new technology development. Passionate about fostering meaningful change, Derek is dedicated to advancing Indigenous Supplier development and increasing Indigenous participation within the defense supply chain.
With a career spanning roles in Program, Aftermarket, Production, and Supply Chain Management, Derek has been instrumental in driving key Indigenous initiatives. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a graduate of the Business Purchasing Program at Fanshawe College, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Management at Athabasca University.
