Star Quilts was started the morning of March 24th, 2024, after I had a dream of them. I have never known anyone to have a star quilt or make them. I watched online tutorials of how to make them that morning, resulting in me gathering all the materials I had on hand to create the center star by 8:30 that evening for a twin sized quilt. On March 29th, a finished star quilt was placed on my oldest son’s bed.
In 1999, crop circles appeared in my Dad’s wheat field. My aunt recently informed me in the center of the largest circle was an 8-pointed star.
I believe in dreams having a meaning, that information reinforced my desire to make this a reality.
Star quilts are a way to celebrate milestones in one’s life as well as to show respect, honor and protect individuals.
