Natural Resource Solutions Inc. (NRSI) is an Indigenous-owned environmental consulting firm formed in 1998, comprised of over 70 full-time staff with expertise in terrestrial, wetland, and aquatic biology, as well as Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Biologists at NRSI have particular expertise in the identification and management of significant and sensitive biological communities. Staff are highly trained and include Foresters, Certified Arborists, Tree Risk Assessors (TRAQ), environmental construction monitors and restoration experts
We routinely work with a range of clients throughout Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan including municipalities, federal and provincial agencies, Conservation Authorities, and private land developers. Staff have experience managing and participating in a wide variety of project types, including Class Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Studies (EISs), Renewable Energy Assessments, transportation studies, stormwater and servicing and retrofit studies, environmental monitoring, peer reviews, Species at Risk (SAR) surveys, and tree inventories and management plans. We provide specialist natural environment services such as fish and wildlife relocation, restoration and enhancement plans, and bat habitat surveys and acoustic monitoring.
