Sonia Boskov

Sonia Boskov graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 2017. In 2019, Sonia obtained a Master of Arts in Applied Politics from Wilfrid Laurier University. As part of her master’s program, she completed a Major Research Project in the form of a policy analysis of Ontario’s Indigenous Education policy. Sonia also completed the Decolonizing Education Certificate Module 5: Positionality in Relation to Indigenous People at the Centre for Indigegogy and attended the Indigenist Research Symposium, both at Wilfrid Laurier University. Sonia is a continuous learner and is committed to relationship-building, collaboration, accountability, and open communication.
Prior to joining CCAB, Sonia held voluntary positions in research, advocacy and social justice at several organizations including the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal, and Journalists for Human Rights.
Outside of work, Sonia enjoys spending time in nature, travelling, cooking for loved ones, reading, and practicing yoga.
