The Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation & Group of Companies’ goals include enhancing the economic self-reliance, prosperity, and certainty for Tłı̨chǫ citizens by creating sustainable economic development.
When the Tłı̨chǫ Government was established on August 4, 2005, the Band Councils of Behchokǫ̀, Gamètì, Wekweetì, and Whatì, as well as the Treaty 11 Council business interests were brought together under the corporate umbrella of the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation (TIC).
TIC’s sole shareholder is the Tłı̨chǫ Government, TIC owns and operates businesses that span several industries, and has entered into various Joint Venture partnerships with other groups and companies throughout Canada.
