Holly Cooper is a First Nations professional and has worked in the Indigenous community for over 25 years. Her experience includes over two decades dedicated to advancing Indigenous economic participation in Canada.
Holly brings a unique perspective to her engagements. She has practical work experience of advancing Indigenous economic inclusion at the corporate level and also worked in the not for profit sector advancing the message of inclusion to public and private companies across Canada.
Holly is Director, Indigenous Relations for ATB Financial and leads the development of the Indigenous Relations Strategy. In one of her previous roles, she travelled across Canada promoting Indigenous inclusion to companies in a variety of sectors. This national exposure provided her with a unique perspective on the inclusion needs of public and private organizations.
Holly is one of the top connected Indigenous leaders in Canada and her knowledge of the national, provincial and regional programs for Indigenous people across the country is exceptional.
Her past volunteer experience includes: Co-Chair of the Aboriginal Professional Network in Ottawa; board member roles with: Public Sector Aboriginal Business Association, Aboriginal Human Resource Council and Kahkewistahaw Economic Management Corporation.
