2019 IWIL TFAB Networking

Thank you for joining CCAB at our TFAB Aboriginal Business Networking Event taking place ahead of our 3rd Indigenous Women in Leadership (IWIL) Event. TFAB (Tools and Financing for Aboriginal Business) Networking Events provide valuable networking opportunities between a variety of corporations and Aboriginal businesses.

The well attended networking event heard from Indigenous women-owned CAB companies ORIGIN, Cheekbone Beauty and Design de Plume on successes and challenges that they have encountered while maintaining and growing their businesses. The audience learned how they navigate procurement opportunities and what they wish to see corporations doing differently to allow more Indigenous owned businesses participate in their supply chains.

TFAB Aboriginal Business Networking Events are held in a variety of locations across Canada to:

• Create a space for Aboriginal entrepreneurs to connect with likeminded peers

• Provide Aboriginal entrepreneurs and businesses with the opportunity to grow their professional networks and profile through connecting with CCAB corporate members and other organizations committed to Aboriginal business

• Provide opportunities to learn more about what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur from special guest speakers.
